General website information

The website gives a general overview of services, completed work and the enquiry process. It is not building, engineering, design, financial or legal advice. Images and project examples illustrate previous work; every property and scope must be assessed separately.

Enquiries are not accepted quotes

Sending a contact or quote form does not create a contract, reserve a start date or guarantee that a project can be accepted. Website budget selections are indicative only. Any project scope, price, exclusions, allowances, timing and payment terms will be set out in a separate written quote, proposal or agreement. If website wording conflicts with an accepted project document, that project document applies to the extent of the conflict.

Availability and service area

Service areas and response times are guides, not guarantees. Availability depends on the suburb, project scope, site conditions, materials, approvals, trade scheduling and current workload. We may decline an enquiry or refer work that is outside the services we provide.

Accuracy and changes

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but information can become outdated and the site may occasionally be interrupted. We may correct, update or remove website content without notice. A website error does not change an accepted written project agreement.

Acceptable use

You must not use the website or forms to:

• break the law, misrepresent your identity or infringe another person's rights;
• send malicious code, spam, abusive material or files unrelated to a genuine enquiry;
• attempt to bypass security, access private systems or disrupt the website; or
• copy or automatically extract substantial website content for commercial reuse.

Project media and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website design, text, branding and project media are owned by or licensed to AJ Painting and Renovations. You may view and share links to the website for personal, non-commercial purposes, but may not reproduce or commercially use the content without permission.

If you send photographs or documents with an enquiry, you confirm that you are permitted to send them. We use them to assess and manage your enquiry; submitting them does not give us permission to publish them as marketing material.

External services and links

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. Their content, availability, privacy practices and services are controlled by their operators, not by AJ Painting and Renovations.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these website terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Information about consumer guarantees is available from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

Website-use liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused solely by relying on general website information, inability to access the website, or content on a third-party site. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or to rights created by an accepted project agreement.
