View the full projectThe approach
Planned around the space and the finished result.
Because the courtyard is narrow, the layout keeps the floor open and pushes planting to the perimeter. The gazebo follows the same footprint so the finished area reads as one intentional outdoor room.
The courtyard now has a warm, practical surface and a sheltered centre that can be furnished and used in more conditions.
